The speedway was built on Tumbulgum Farm at Byford, a southern suburb of Perth WA, Tumbulgum was promoted by Dirt High Promotions, Willie Thomson and in conjunction with the Speedway Motorcycle Club of WA, racing consisted of Motorcycle Solo and Sidecar racing.
