Barry Thomson recalls: during the early 1990's while doing the handicappers job at Bunbury Speedway, we had a system of drawing the grid positions out of the hat, On ths one night we did the draw, all ligit, and it just so happened that one of our true characters in the club, "Jacko" had draw the pole, but before he was told, I whispered in his ear, Hey Jacko get me a humburger and I will make sure you get a pole, Ten minutes later Jacko hands me over a hamburger and winks at me.
