1970 - AUSTRALIAN SPEEDWAY WORLD MAGAZINE   Reported,

18th April 1970 - Big Al Streader took out the Sydney feature race for Speedcars this night ahead of Sid Middlemass and Ronnie Mackay in third.   Published 2nd May 1970.

1970 - SYDNEY SHOWGROUND SPEEDWAY.  Solo's. Sidecar's & Speedcar's.   2nd May 1970.

Gary Treloar & Alf Fickel Top the Sidecars.

Here tonight at the Showground the Sidecars poured on the entertainment with there side to side antics. The combo of Gary Trelor and Alf Fickel woutd win the feature event from Doug Robson and Bob Lewis on there machine, back to the combo of Garry Innes and Kerry Pont, while in 4th place was John Dunn and Phil Andrews. 

Solo's

The Solo's also seem to please the spectator's with tonight's Feature event being won by Jim Gossen, second was John Bowerman while Graham Gardiner ran third.

Speedcar's

Bruce Doolan took out the 20 lap Speedcar feature race ahead of Jack Porritt in second while Barry Butterworth took out third and in fourth position was Brian Hanlon.
