RICHMOND PACEWAY SPEEDWAYIt has been stated that Richmond Paceway, Fremantle's now vanished Trotting Track did in-fact hold Speedway Long Track racing events, This is yet to be confirmed.
RALLY AUSTRALIA CHAMPIONSHIPRichmond Paceway was used for a assembly point for the first ever Rally Australia before the Championship was moved to Langley Park on the Perth Foreshore.

When Trotting attendances faded away the arena was closed and in 1991 the bulldozers moved in, This well known Fremantle sporting became a residential area, Today this once part of Fremantle's motorsport history has gone, just like the trotting track it was apart of.
