Alan Streader recalls: Mount Gambier was a small tight track, I won a few races their, One particular meeting after the racing was over I was standing on the back of a semi trailer telling jokes to fellow drivers when I remembered I had to race at Red Cliffs Speedway in Victoria the following morning, I later wished that I hadn't remembered about the meeting as while there I blew the engine to bits.
