1952 - BATHURST MOUNT PANORAMA. AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX. 14th April 1952The 1952 Easter two day race meeting was very much a mixed bag with the drivers, officials and spectators having to endure poor weather with lots of rain on the Saturday and perfect conditions on the Sunday.
This two day race meeting was in fact the 1952 Australian Grand Prix. Doug Whiteford won the 38 lap final in a Talbot - Lago T26C 4.5 litre. Stan Jones finished 2nd in a 4.3 litre Maybach Special.
