The Bunbury Car Club had come under fire earlier in the year in regards to be wheel chair unfriendly, It was because of this that the works committee, led by John Hovey set about rectifying any problems around the venue. Stage 1 is all but finished with that masive walkway hill at the Centenary Road Public gate some what flattened out. Also the asphalt walkway around the arena has been resurfaced.

Due to an internal electrical audit that was carried out at the track, the Bunbury Car Club committee has chosen to do several upgrades to the venue that will bring the complex into line with the current day safety standard's. after all the safety of everyone on site is the clubs highest priority. This being the reason for the cancelation. A pre season Shake Down will be done on the 14 of November 2024.

With a delayed start to the 2024/2025 season this opener was promising to be a ripper, The Pit were full and the Stands and Banks were filling but there was a problem. The raceway was far from being ready to host the LJM Grand Prix, it was a case of part of the contracted Track Crew were a no show. Could the show go on, would the fans wait.
Just when it looked like the show was finished before it started, a few good men stepped out of the crowd to offer there services. So Logan Hair, Cody Briggs and Griffen Mitchell you are Champions.
The delayed start to the night meant a slight change to the racing format so the night would still on time. With the track in pristine condition the meeting got underway and what a night of racing the crowd was treated to.
