Just prior to the tracks second year of operation it was increased in size to a 1/2 mile layout in an attempt to please all concerned.
A further change took place just three more years later with the track being reduced to a 1/3 mile, but still dirt.
Still not happy a further change was made, the track was further reduced to a 1/4 mile and also paved, This was a huge success, The divisions and car counts all increased with Midgets, Modifieds and Sprintcars.
