1947 - CRAFERS MOUNTAIN MINIATURE TT CIRCUITThe town of Crafer is one of the oldest settlements in the Adelaide Hills and is concidered to be quite a peaceful and affluent area that attracts upper crust families with tons of cashed up yuppies.
So when it was announced that when the Atujara Motor Cycle Club were going to flood the region with bikies and there noisy machines, it was a shock to many, but they did and it worked.
The motorcycle TT races were held around the hilly, tight and dangerous streets on a small circuit behind the Crafter's Pub on the 15th of March 1947.
The meeting was hailed a success and no one was killed, Despite the success of the event, the club's TT event was never repeated.
