1947 - TEMORA SHOWGROUND SPEEDWAYFurther Newspaper reports indicate the Temora Showground once again hosted speedway motorcycle and car racing. The rider numbers were quite large as young men, some that had received training during World War 2 as despatch rider, there was also a large amount of ex Army motorcycles available. The events were run by the Temora Motorcycle Club and the Light Car Club.
