Hales Corners Speedway originally opened in 1950 as a 1/4 mile dirt oval speedway running mainly Modifieds and Sportsman's.

1973 - HALES CORNERS SPEEDWAY.

The speedway went through a major transition after the 1973 season, The size of the track was increased to a 1/3 mile layout, This attracted more divisions, The venue was now featuring Late Models, Sprintcars and Midgets.
