1953 - MOOERS FIELD SPEEDBOWL
Mooers Field Speedbowl was orininally built as a Baseball field for the Richmond Colts, so when they moved to a bigger stadium, the venue was turned into a 1/5 mile paved speedway for Stock Car racing, but by 1958 the then owner, Eddie Moore on-sold the venue and the stadium and race track were demolished.
