1979 - Laurie Hardie in the Monaro running around the tight Bibra Lake track with 2 smaller cars monstering him. Al Munday in the Mini and unknown in the Ford Anglia. Research Wayne Glassborow.

Christopher Munday recalls: This is Phil Myers, driving his sons Mini Junior Sedan, but with a full Cooper S race engine. He was practising at Bibra Lake in preperation for a national open Saloon Car meeting at Bagot Park Speedway in Darwin later in the year. He figured the track was similar to Bibra Lake in size, and the Mini would be more competitive on the small oval in Darwin.
