1927 - PITTSBURGH BRIDGEVILLE SPEEDWAY.
Pittsburgh Bridgeville Speedway opened its gates in 1927 as a 1/2 mile Timber Board track, at only a 1/2 mile in length it was concidered to be a small track.
The first race recorded was over a distance of 150 miles and was a major event on the states speedway calander, The race did attract many of the big named drivers.

1929 - PITTSBURGH BRIDGEVILLE SPEEDWAY.
By 1929 the venue had received sanctioning from the from the American Automobile Association to host 3 major events, This would only last until the end of the 1930 race season, when the owner closed down the track because of costly repairs that were required to the timber structure.
