1965 - WIDE OPEN SPEEDWAY.

Wide open Speedway opened in 1965 as a 3/8 mile dirt track speedway running mainly Stock Cars, The track was quite rough and dusty, The venues life was very short, closing after the end of the 1972 season.

1992 - 250 SPEEDWAY.

The Speedway did reopen again in 1992 under the name of 250 Speedway, This time its life was even shorter, closing at the end of the first season.

2008 - 250 SPEEDWAY.

In 2008 after siting abandoned for a number of years, The Wagner family moved in and made some upgrades to the venue. From this point on the track would enjoy some success.

The program was extended running Stock Cars, Modifieds, and Karts. Unfortunately in 2018 the Enviromental Protection people moved in and shut the venue down.
