1959 - YAKIMA SPEEDWAY
Towards the end of 1959 the dirt car racing was moved to the nearby Central Washington Fairgrounds track. So the owners of Yakima deceided to pave the track. This would turn out to be a fantastic move. Spectator numbers ramped right up to come and see the weekly Stock Car racing.
As the years passed more and more divisions would feature on the program, more Stock Cars, Late Models, Sprintcars and Modifieds.

2017 - YAKIMA SPEEDWAY
By 2017 the owner had lost the passion to continue on because of the falling spectator numbers, so he leased the track out, while it was up for sale, this arrangement only lasted till 2020 when he closed the venue.
