1956 - BRUNSWICK RIVER BRIDGE SCRAMBLE TRACK
During 1956 the Bunbury Motorcycle Club built a motorcycle scramble track on the Western bank of the Brunswick River next to the bridge in Australind, A new levy bank was installed and was used as part of the scramble track, The track was situated in the lower corner of the Travers family farm, the area was quite swampy and not much use for anything else, Ron Travers who owned the land turned in many a lap himself on the track along with his good mate Bernie Rodgers.
