1941 - GREENFIELD MIDGETDROME.
Greenfield Midgetdrome opened in 1941 as a 1/5 mile paved oval speedway focusing on Midget racing.
Sadly the world wide ban put on motor racing the very next year did cause the track to close until 1947.
1947 - GREENFIELD MIDGETDROME.
The track did reopen after the end of World War 2 and became well known for its Midget racing, including some lond distance events.
In 1948 the track was starting to break up due to regular flooding that was not considered when the track was built, This would end the tracks short life.
