1999 - VINTAGE ON AVON
The Vintage Sports Car Club of WA has been holding Re-enactment racing around the streets of Northam since 1999, From 1999 through to 2003 the event was known as the Vintage on Avon, The meetings consisted of a hill climb event on the Saturday at Mt Ommanney as well as a Autokhana in the main street, The Sunday is made up of a full days racing around the towns centre.

2004 - NORTHAM FLYING 50
The event still under the control of the Vintage Sports Car Club of WA simply went through a name change in 2004, The name of the event was re-named the Northam Flying 50.
