1986 - FAIRGROUNDS SPEEDWAY
Its not often that a fairgrounds track was originally opened for Motor Sport, but on this occasion it was. It was originally a 1/4 mile track opened up after the loss of Thunderbird Speedway.
The racing began with Stock Cars soon after Modifieds were added. As the popularity grew, the track won IMCA sanctioned races.
In the mid 90's, it was decided to extend the track a little. The racing continued to be popular over the next decade. By the time the mid 2000's had arrived the track was beginning to struggle. It changed operators and changed names such as Montezuma County Speedway and Arrowhead Speedway.

2015 - FAIRGROUNDS SPEEDWAY
After the 2015 season the track was closed down. It sat until a new group took over and gave it life again in 2019.

2019 - FAIRGROUNDS SPEEDWAY
Unfortunately unfair terms to the lease of the track were given and it was not sustainable to keep it operating, Let's hope it reopen's.
