1950 - TWIN CITY SPEEDWAY (2)
Twin City Speedway opened in 1950 as a 1/2 mile dirt oval speedway, running Hot Rods and Supermodifieds.
Shortley after opening a 1/4 mile track was added within the 1/2 mile layout.
By 1964 the owner was forced to sell because of some issues he was having with the IRS.
Over the following five years, three other people would have a go at promoting the venue.
1969 - TWIN CITY SPEEDWAY (2)In 1969 it was decided to pave the 1/4 mile track, the track would close in that same year.
1972 - NORTH STAR SPEEDWAYThe track did re-open again in 1972 under the name of North Star Speedway.

The venue operated succesfully, attracting some big name driver, The World of Outlaws would attend boosting the spectator numbers.
The track closed in 1979 after running their 1979 World of Outlaws event, never to re-open.
