1953 - FORT COVINGTON SPEEDWAY
Fort Covington Speedway opened in 1953 as a half mile dirt oval speedway, attracting drivers and spectotors from near and far.
As the track was only minuets away from the Canadian border, Canadian drivers would often turn up to race.
The track was very succesfull and ran up until 1975 when the owner past away.
