1985 - BUNBURY CITY SPEEDWAY.   Bunbury Grand National Championship.   27th January 1985.

NYLANDER is GRAND NATIONAL CHAMPION

The Bunbury City Speedway tonight has hosted it Annual Grand National track Championship that has been brought to us by Peter Krikke at Bunbury Toyota.
The heats and the 25 lap feature event put on plenty of action as the top drivers moved there way forward through the fields af cars and on to the finish line.
Perth's Allan Nylander would win this years championship, followed by David Dehann and Peter Morgan in third.

1985 - RON KRIKKE.   SPRINTCAR's.

Ron Krikke had won the Australian Sprintcar Campionship at Claremont Speedway the night before after Rushey was forced to retire with a flat tyre in the final, it was a quick stop off at Ross Coxon's sign shop the morning after to change to number on the Bunbury Toyota car to 1.  Here we see Gary was kind enough to do a few laps with Ron for the camera's as the outgoing Champion.
