1950 - GOLD MINE RACEWAY
Gold Mine Raceway opened in 1950 as a 1/4 mile dirt oval speedway, The race meetings were held Sundays running predominately Sportsman class, The track closed in 1953.
The track did re-open again in 1962 under the control of the owners sons, only to close again in 1968 because of low car numbers and fan support.
