1956 - ORANGE COUNTY SPEEDWAY
Orange County Speedway opened as a 1/5 mile dirt oval speedway in 1956 running Midgets. There choice as a santioning body was USRC. The venue also contained a 1/8 mile track using part of the front straight and turn one for Tq racing.

1967 - EL TORO SPEEDWAY
During 1967 the speedway went through a name change to El Toro Speedway as the new Orange County International Raceway had just opened up down the road.
The El Toro speedway was a popular hang out during the 1970's, with Motor Cycle flat trackers bringing in a totally diffrent type of spectator, Also Motocross events were added on friday nights.
After the end of the 1978 racing season the speedway was forced to close after loosing out to some of the locals and their noise complaints.
