1995 - WALT DISNEY WORLD SPEEDWAY.
Construction of the six million dollar speedway commenced in June of 1995, with the opening on the 28th of November 1995.
The racetrack was a one mile banked asphalt circuit that was described as a three turn tri oval.

1997 - ELISEO SALAZAR.
On January the 11th of 1997 IRL driver Elisio Salazer while pre season testing crashed at turn one and fractured his lower back.

1997 - DAVY JONES.
Davy Jones crashed at turn 3 during a practice session and suffered a broken neck.

2000 - SAM SCHMIDT.
On the 6th of January 2000 while practicing IRL driver Sam Schmidt crashed heavily causing him to end up paralyzed.

2015 - WALT DISNEY WORLD SPEEDWAY FATALITY.
The speedway experienced one fatality only during its years of operation, On the 12th of April 2015 driving instructor Garry Terry aged 36 died after a crash during a run as part of the Exotic Driving Experience, Terry was riding in the passenger seat of a Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera when the driver lost control and crashed into a track guard rail.
The Florida Highway Patrol investigated and announced that, while the decision to run vehicles counter-clockwise (instead of clockwise as the track was designed for) may have been a factor in the accident, it was an accident and no charges were filed against the driver, since it was on private property.

2015 - WALT DISNEY WORLD SPEEDWAY. CLOSURE.
On the 25th of March 2015, it was announced that the speedway would close on the 9th of August 2015 with the demolission team moving in later the same month, The area was required for muck needed parking.
