1970's - MOREE SPEEDWAY
Moree's speedway activities started at an old daylight track outside of the town, In the 1970's the club moved it operations to the Moree Showgrounds where they held night time speedway racing events under lights, The previous old track was not lost forever as once a year the club was run there meeting at the showground venue on the Saturday and then hold a meeting at the old track on the Sunday.
