Lost Dirt Tracks facebook Feature
An extremely short lived track that had virtually no facilities at all, it was basically a half mile track cut into farmland and that was it.
The track was narrow and had no outside fencing at all, the spectators could stand wherever they wanted which included, right by the track on the inside or the outside.
It was originally opened for motorbike racing but with no midget track in the Christchurch area, they allowed midgets to start racing.
Midget racing didn't last long as the track was too narrow and too dangerous and with that bike racing stopped as well.
