John Harriss recalls: It's not well known that Jeff was instrumental in the maintaining of the cars of the Gene Welch touring sedan teams from his Merrylands West home.
Jeff also supplied his sprintcar for the Late Great Gary Patterson to drive before becoming one of the very best in the Sprintcar division during the asphalt days at Liverpool, Canberra and South Australia.
