1982 - BARLEIGH RANCH COMPLEX
In the days of the Raymond Terrace Motor Cycle Club the Barleigh Ranch track used to be a privately owned speedway were vintage speedway competitors got together to hold spirited demonstration runs.
Since then the Hunter Valley Motorcycle Club has purchased the venue and has turned it into a five track complex, including junior speedway, Senior Speedway, Short Circuit and long circuit racing, as well as a motocross track.
The track officially opened in 1983, Some sections of the track are common in most of the tracks.

HUNTER VALLEY MOTORCYCLE CLUB
The Hunter Valley Motor Cycle Club who own the Barleigh Ranch Complex was formed from the amalgamation of the Raymond Terrace Motor Cycle Club, The Wallsend District Motor Cycle Club, The Mayfield Motorcycle Club and the Newcastle Speedway Riders Club.
