1959 - KENT PACIFIC RACEWAYS
Construction began on the Kent Pacific Raceway's in 1959 by the land owners, the Fiorito family. Not only did they build the tracks but they also ran the venture. Racing commenced in 1960. The layout features a 3.621 km sealed Road Course as well as a Drag Strip and a Motocross track.

1960 - PACIFIC RACEWAYS
Shortly after opening the Kent reference was dropped from the name, so the venue was then known as Pacific Raceways.

1969 - SEATTLE INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
In 1969 the Fiorito family stepped back from the running of the venue and a new management team came in. The name was also changed to Seattle International Raceways. This operation lasted up until 2002 when their lease was up.

2002 - PACIFIC RACEWAYS.
By 2002 the venue was in trouble, the venue was in a state of disrepair and the SCCA National Office had de-certified the circuit over safety concern's. The Fiorito family then decided to step back in and run the venue once again, they made the nessesery upgrades to re-certify the venue with the SCCA and changed the name back to Pacific Raceways, They then once again ran the venue as a successful venture.
