The Club, Officials, Driver's and Crews, as well as the Spectators. What an effort, three hour's past the advertised start time and the rain effected track surface was still being worked on. But they did it.
GERALDTON SPEEDWAY REPORTEDOn behalf of myself, the Geraldton Speedway committee, all the volunteers and competitors we would like to say a huge thank you to all the speedway fans that stayed through the rain and waited patently while we worked on the track, so we could put on some sort of show for you to watch. He was largely untroubled through the event as some of his most talented rivals were forced infield with mechanical problems.
Local Champion Damon Lyle failed to take the green after the roll up laps, early in the feature, current WA 1 Jake Hoath and Jace
