GROVE CREEK RACEWAY
Grove Creek Raceway opened in 1979 as a 3/8 mile dirt oval track speedway. Over its life time the speedway has featured, Stock Cars, Modifieds and Late Model Sedans on it program.
Grove Creek also has a 1/4 mile Drag Strip that is situated right next to the speedway, this did pose problems with dust drifting off the dirt track on the the sealed strip.
The speedway track did manage to stay operating until the completion of the 2005 season. Thats when the owners decided to close down the speedway, The Drags did continue.
