Barry Cassidy recalls: I was fortunate to have a steer of David Hallam's EH Holden which at the time was Tassie's first "Real" Sports Sedan.
Very quick car in its day, the cylinder head was a work of art, managed to win this race and hand the car back unscathed.
Was the first time id ever driven with proper race tyres, Goodyear Blue Streaks, you had to be cashed up to afford those, ha ha.

Barry Cassidy recalls: Symmons Plains 1987, driving my friend Phil Howe's turbo Pacer, 500 + hoarse power it was a weapon, a lot of people snickered about the car when we turned up to race it, especially one particular commentator, however they crawled back in their boxes when we blew the field away, it would wheel spin in top gear through the sweeper on the back straight, stoping it, yeah that was another matter ha ha.
