1950 - TRI STATE SPEEDWAY
Tri State Speedway opened in 1950 as a 1/4 mile dirt oval speedway. Stock Cars were the big attraction at this popular track.
The fans were treated each and every Saturday night, while on some holiday's it was an afternoon affair. Tri State only enjoyed a short life of four seasons, closing after the end of 1953.
