1967 - TEXAS SPEEDWAY
Texas Speedway opened in 1967, it was a short circuit style track with a dog leg in one straight, The racetrack had no safety fences and the spectators were separated from the racing by a drain running along the front straight.
The track closed in 1972 and the new Inverell Speedway was built.
