1956 - BORDERLINE SPEEDWAY
On the 15th of April 1956 a track was cleared at Puralka in Victoria and was advertised as Borderline Speedway, It had a mix of cars (8 competed) and motorcycles, Ian Hogg had a good day, as he won the Donovan sidecar trophy race and also the 250cc solo handicap on a 125cc CZ, Edgar McDonald won the car event.
This roughly bulldozed circuit that used the knocked down trees and scrub as the outside and inside barriers was only used once.
