1990 - RICH VOGLEROn the 21st of July 1990 Rich Vogler died in a turn four crash from severe head injuries, Vogler who was leading the event at the time was approaching the white flag, signalling one lap to go, when he crashed bringing out the red flag, The race was not re-started as per the rule book and Vogler was posthumously awarded the win.
