1971 - CORONA SPEEDWAY
Corona Speedway opened in 1971 as a complex that boasted a 1/2 mile dirt oval track, along with a 1/4 mile dirt oval inside that.
The venue was very popular with local and visiting drivers, as well as being well supported by the paying public.
The program was mainly Sprintcars, Late Models and Stock Cars.
As many other tracks did, the speedway closed in 1984 to make way for a new housing development.
