1950's - WESLEY HILL SPEEDWAY
The Wesley Hill speedway was just a roughly graded track within an old pit. There was a rocky outcrop on one side that was ideal for spectator viewing. It was also just over the road from a housing area.

There are many theory's as to the exact location of the old Wesley Hill track, A general description is that it is between Castlemaine and the Chewton Football Ground.
