1923 - YELLOW JACKET FIELD
Yellow Jacket field or Frankford Stadium was the home of Frankford Yellow Jackets football team from 1923 through to 1930 when it was badly damaged by fire. The venue was demolished in July of 1931.

1933 - FRANKFORD LEGION ATHLETIC FIELD
In 1933 the Frankford Legion Athletic Association purchased the site and built there own Stadium, named the Frankford Legion Athletic Field, there are no reports to indicate that speedway racing started prior to 1935.

1935 - YELLOW JACKET SPEEDWAY
Yellow Jacket Speedway started of within the arena of the Frankford Legion Athletic Field. The speedway was a 1/5 mile dirt oval track that featured Midget Car Racing.

1939 - YELLOW JACKET SPEEDWAY
It was decided that in 1939 by the resident football team, that they were moving to a new venue on the corners of Eric Ave and G Street. The speedway racing decided to also move to that same stadium.
