Graduation Exercises Held At Automobile Race Track
Graduation exercises around the country have been normally held in stadiums, auditoriums, football fields, field houses, baseball fields and camper lawns, but last night the Willis School at Old Bridge held its ceremonies at an automobile race track, possibly the first such site so selected anywhere. With more than 400 parents and friends looking on. 66 eighth grade students of the school got there diplomes. They are shown here on a platform at the starting line of the Old Bridge race track. 19th June 1956
