1976 - BEACH HAVEN SPEEDWAYBeach Haven Speedway was built by George Perluke andwas opened around 1976, It was a big wide flat half mile track with a lake in the middle.
There was a huge grandstand and amusement's that Perluke bought from Pallisacles Park located on the back straight.
He first ran small block modifieds and got cars from Big Diamond, He paid $400 to win and that was it, He later switched to limited Late Models and Midgets.
Motorcycle racing events were held at the venue, one of these resulting in the death of a rider.
