1892 - DAVENPORT FAIRGROUNDS
The Davenport Fairgrounds was built in 1892 to hold the annual County Fair as well as service the wealthy horse racing industry with its big one mile track around the outside of the fairgrounds.

1900 - DAVENPORT FAIRGROUNDS
In 1900 motor racing was first introduced to the fairgrounds by way of a demonstration race between 2 cars around the one mile dirt oval.

1904 - DAVENPORT FAIRGROUNDS SPEEDWAY
By 1904 regular speedway racing events over a ten mile distance were being held at the fairgrounds, as time passed these would become fifty mile races.

1916 - DAVENPORT FAIRGROUNDS SPEEDWAY
In 1916 the Fairgrounds Board made the call to no longer conduct motor racing events at the venue.

2021 - DAVENPORT SPEEDWAY WORLD OF OUTLAWS LATE MODEL SEDANS QUAD CITY 150 night 1 26th August 2021Devin Moran takes the early lead in the 40 lapper and was never troubled while charging to the finish on night one of the Quad City 150 and the $10,000 checque in the World of Outlaws Late Model Sedan feature race over ?? laps. Second to the line was Bobby Pierce, 3rd Frank Heckenast Junior and 4th Shannon Babb.

2021 - DAVENPORT SPEEDWAY WORLD OF OUTLAWS LATE MODEL SEDANS QUAD CITY 150 night 2 27th August 2021Brandon Sheppard has put in a fantastic drive to lead all 40 laps of night two of the Quad City's 150 for the $10,000 winners checque at the Davenport Speedway with the World of Outlaws Late Model's, Second home was Bobby Pierce, while Devin Moran was third and Jason Ferger 4th.

2021 - DAVENPORT SPEEDWAY WORLD OF OUTLAWS LATE MODEL SEDANS QUAD CITY 150 night 3 28th August 2021Devin Moran has taken the Tye Twarog Racing Longhorn Chassis number 9 to victory and picked up the $30,000 winners checque at the Davenport Speedway for the Quad City 150 70 lap feature with the World of Outlaws Late Model Sedans on night three, 2nd was Brian Shirley, 3rd Boom Briggs and 4th Brandon Sheppard.
