1962 - GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY.
Construction began in 1962 on the Grandview Speedway. Early plans showed that the track was to be a 1/4 mile asphalt oval. But as work commenced it was changed to a larger dirt track.

1963 - GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY.
Forrest Rogers was the man behind the building of this speedway. He completed the construction of this venue and officially opened it on the 11th of August 1963.

1966 - THE ROGERS FAMILY.
In 1966 Forrest Rogers passed away as the result of a heart attack, Thus handing control of the speedway to his son Bruce Rogers. He continued to run the venue until 2017 when he to died. As of today the ownership and promotion of the venue is still under control of the Rogers family.
