1976 BUNGARRA KART TRACK
Acording to the club secretary and track list, the first entry of the Bungarra Kart Club was in 1976, At the time Mrs K Merrin was the club secretary.
The track surface was sealed with bitumen and was noted for it hairpin bend, which would later be replaced with a large extension to increase the tracks length.
In 1979 the Bungarra club would host the state championship at its venue, There are no records of the Bunbarra club operating after 1983, it is believed that the track closed and was later reopened by the Hedland Kart Club, The club that operates the venue today.
