1977 - MESA MARIN RACEWAY
Mesa Marin Raceway opened in 1977 as a banked 1/2 mile paved oval race track with tight corner's and long straights. The track was owned by Marion Collins.
The venue closed on the 16th of October 2005.

1980's - MESA MARIN RACEWAY
It was in the 1980's that the venue had received Nascar sanctioning, these many high profile events lifted the popularity of the venue overnight.

1990's - MESA MARIN RACEWAY
The 1990's were even more successful, continuing to host more Nascar event's, even getting onboard to develop the Truck Series.

1990 - BILL YUKOVICK 111
Sadness descended over the venue one particular practice day in 1990, when Bill Vukovick 111 slammed into the outer wall after his throttle jammed on, killing him.

2005 - MESA MARIN RACEWAY
By 2005 the venue had run its race, Noise Complaints had prompted the Government to not issue any permits to run any future race events. so the owner closed the raceway down and sold the land off to a housing developer.
