1989 - DAVE & WARREN HARVEY South West Sidecar

The combination of Dave and Warren Harvey were very competitive concidering the budget they had to work within.

Dave a very gifted motor mechanic built this bike from the ground up, and other's in his Bunbury workshop, Warren worked in retail and very much hands on in the shop.

The boys were raised around motorsport as there farther was the legendry Keith Harvey, or as he self appointed himself the mouth of the south, Keith raced himself in his early years in the east on the dirt and worked his way up through the world of comentating before the family moved to West Australia. Currently the boys are the South West Sidecar champions.

1988 > 1989 - SIDECAR SEASONS CHAMPIONSHIP

Dave and Warren Harvey top the seasons points

The bigger the trophey, the bigger the effort to win it... And that was certainly what brothers Dave and Warren Harvey did to take out the magnificent "monument" they flank. The two young speedway sidecar riders, son of well-known commentator Keith Harvey, survived some painfull spills and several thrilling finishes throughout the season to pip Mark Drew and Ernie Beighton by one point to take out the spectacular Barry Mason award de-signed and built by Mason. The Harvey brothers will be seen in action at Collie on Saturday night when they take on a star-studded field from Bunbury and Claremont speedways in the Marlows Masters.
