1966 - STRATHAM TRACK
The Stratham track was built on local service station owners private property at the rear of his business in 1966, The track was a sand based circuit that hosted Motorcycles, Hot Rods and Road registered cars,
Collin McDougel the owner was also the local Bays newspaper contractor, transporting newspapers overnight to the local area from Perth in one of those distinctive red Ford F100 delivery vans.
Colin also ran a Taxi service in the Bunbury area in a Vangaurd sedan, the track only ran for a short period and even accepted road driven car.

Brian Mcray recalls: At the time I had build a Morris Minor with a front mounted 4 cylinder Austin engine in the car, I raced it at Stratham and also Drag raced the thing at the Busselton Airstrip drags, both without success, I later sold to car to a guy that had a go at racing it at Blicks, he also without success.

Peter Clifford recalls: A school friend of mine from Donnybrook raced a Royal Enfield Silver Bullet motorcyle at the Stratham track, we both raced together as young blokes in stock production at Cherrydale Raceway in Donnybrook.
