1979 - FORRESTFIELD SPEEDWAY. Visable Stock feature Day. Junior Saloon's. Stock Production. Late Model Saloon's. Modified's and Supermodified's. Ladies race and Mechanic's races. 24th June 1979.Visable Stocks split annual Win'sSuch was the amount of cars that had nominated for this years Visable Stock Featurer, the field was split into two groups, A Division and B Division. The racing was keen and the winner's for all of the racing is as follow's.
Bencubbin's Ross Hardwick won the A Grade Visable Stock's with wins in both heat two and three. The first of their heat's was won by Rod Smirk. Steve Lowe one of our local

drivers would dominate the B Division with win's in all three of his heats race's. In other classes Ron Napier won the Junior Saloon's first heat, while Lisa Furphy won heats two and three. In the Ladie's race's heat one went to Clare Dingle but Lesley Smirk was to good in the second heat and likewise Jan Donegan in the third. In the Late Model Saloon's, Kim Smith won the first heat, Bruce Flynn the second and Leo Natalotto taking heat three. In the Standard Saloon's John Haime won heat one while Allan Hoffman won the second heat. Also with only two heats on the day in the Modified's, Andy Bowden won heat one while the second heats went to Robert Robinson. Three heats in the Supermodified's and the first and third going to Marty Chamberlin, the second Dennis Curgenvin. In the Supermodified Mechanics race that win went to Peter Murray, while in the Saloon Mechanic's there win went to Kevin Salyer.
